Official announcement released by the Cabinet Division states that along with the already announced holidays from March 22 to 24, the city of Islamabad will additionally observe a national holiday on March 21, as per the Cabinet Division.

On the 22nd and 23rd of March, Pakistan will host the 48th conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Commission on Foreign Relations (CFM). The summit will be attended by the foreign ministers of all Muslim-majority nations.

It is anticipated that the session will examine challenges confronting the Islamic world and provide ideas to improve cooperation amongst Muslim countries for the benefit of all Muslims in attendance. Furthermore, the arrangements for the Pakistan Day Parade, which will take place on March 23 in Islamabad, have been finished, and full-dress rehearsals are currently taking place throughout the city.

All delegates attending the OIC CFM conference have been invited to the Pakistan Day Procession, where they will serve as 'guests of honor,' watching the march from the sidelines.
